Stonegarden's Opening Weekend: A Warm Welcome to Our New Home

What a weekend it was at Stonegarden! From the buzz of Friday brunch to the heartfelt conversations on Sunday, we couldn’t have asked for a better start. The doors to our little corner of Chicago Avenue opened with two incredible mock services on Friday, each one a celebration in its own right. The first was for our neighbors—a warm welcome to those who share our streets, as they shared in the excitement of our opening. Later that afternoon, we hosted industry professionals, whose seasoned perspectives made the service feel both rewarding and affirming.

Saturday brought the Neighborhood Meet and Greet, an event that truly filled our hearts. Seeing so many Hale neighbors gather to connect, laugh, and enjoy what we’ve been crafting was everything we’d hoped for. Little bites flew off platters, our signature chicken broth was sipped and savored, and those amazing cocktails? Let’s just say, they sparked more than a few lively conversations. It was a day of new friendships and shared excitement, setting the tone for everything Stonegarden aims to be.

We wrapped up the weekend with Sunday’s Friends and Family event, which was as cozy and celebratory as it sounds. Sharing our space and dishes with those nearest and dearest gave us a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come. The feedback was invaluable, and the rave reviews made our hearts swell. The Espresso Martini stole the spotlight, while the Norwegian Benedict and Southwestern Omelette became fast favorites—proving once again that nothing brings people together like thoughtful, delicious food.

Now, as we look ahead to the rest of November and the festive season beyond, we’re thrilled to share a new initiative close to our hearts. Starting soon, we’ll launch a 3rd Shift, First Responders, and Service Members Happy Hour, offering 10% off food and $1 off drinks to those who keep our community running, bright and early. It’s our small way of giving back to those who give so much. The Happy Hour will run from 7am to 11am, with alcohol service beginning at 8am—because yes, that’s the law, but also because there’s no wrong time for an Espresso Martini when it’s made with love.

Thank you, Hale, for the warmest of welcomes. We can’t wait to share so much more with you. See you soon, whether it’s for a brunch date, a happy hour coffee, or just a neighborly hello!
